As fourth-generation beekeepers, the Gibbs family gather honey from their bee yards situated amongst wildflower meadows, mixed forests, organic farms and natural pastures of clover and alfalfa, all within 30km from their Ontario family farm. With an emphasis on "hive to jar", they preserve the honey’s flavours, valuable nutrients and antioxidants.
Raw honey is cold-infused with locally grown cascade hops, which lends citrus notes and a bitterness which chill out the honey’s sweetness, making it a more herbal/savoury sweet flavour while maintaining its raw state.
